Public consultation to explore how the model WHS laws are working in practice is now open.
The review will examine how the model WHS laws are operating in practice, whether they are achieving the objects stated in the model WHS Act or if they have resulted in unintended consequences.
Marie Boland is leading the review and would like to hear from everyone about:
- what is working and why
- will it continue to work in the future
- what doesn’t work and why, and
- what we could do to make it work.
There are various ways you can provide your feedback, views and experiences including participating in discussion forums and making a submission. A discussion paper is available to help inform your feedback.
Written submissions can be made until Friday 13 April 2018.
Read more about the review and how to share your feedback on the Safe Work Australia review web page.
